Cherry Hospital has 6 major treatment units. All units operate under the policies of Cherry Hospital, Medical Staff Rules and Regulations, Governing Body Bylaws and the laws of the State of North Carolina. Each unit provides an interdisciplinary team approach in obtaining the unit's mission or approach to treatment. In all cases, treatment plans are developed and implemented with consideration of each individual based upon assessment. Separate units are available for patients at Cherry Hospital. Patients may be transferred between units if the treatment needs are determined to be different from the program in which the patient currently resides.
