The Learning Resource Center (LRC) provides knowledge-based information to all staff in keeping with the overall goals and objectives of Cherry Hospital to enhance quality inpatient psychiatric services.  The objectives are to meet the informational and educational needs of the entire staff through a variety of resources which include books, journals and AV hardware/software.  A computer research lab with Internet access and other software applications are also available.

The services of the LRC are offered free to all staff members and affiliated students and to personnel in the Department of Health and Human Services.  Cherry Hospital identification badges may be used to gain library privileges.  Patrons from the community may utilize the LRC for study purposes but may not check out materials.  Hospital patients may use the LRC when prescribed by the patient's treatment team and approved by the Clinical Director.  Patients may not check out materials from the LRC.  The Patient Library is located in the basement of the Therapeutic Center.
